KAHRAMANMARAS (Turkiye)/DAMASCUS: A major earthquake has killed more than 2,600 people over a large area Turkey and northwestern Syria on Monday, with frigid winter weather adding to the plight of thousands of injured or homeless and hampering efforts to find survivors.
