Legendary Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson did not attend club meeting with Cristiano Ronaldo about the future of the Portuguese star, theo Rich Fay.
Ronaldo, 37 years old, yes reported has told the Red Devils that he wants to leave this summer to continue playing in the UEFA Champions League.
A meeting between the player, his agent Jorge Mendes and club officials will take place to discuss the striker’s future on July 26.
Sir Alex Ferguson is pictured arriving at the Carrington training ground, which has led to speculation that he could be part of the meeting.
However, Manchester Evening News reporter Rich Fay declined to say that the 80-year-old would be part of the negotiations. tweets:

Cristiano Ronaldo impressed for Manchester United last season, scoring 24 goals in 38 appearances in all competitions.
However, the Reds have struggled both domestically and in Europe, finishing sixth and therefore not qualifying for the Champions League.
Five-time Ballon d’Or winner has been link with the likes of Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid but no bids have been made yet.
He has one year left on his contract with United with the option to extend for another year.
Manchester United need to find a solution soon with Cristiano Ronaldo
