Someone just found a cheat code for 2004’s Gran Turismo 4 on PS2
Polyphonic Gran Turismo 4released in December 2004, is a video game we’ve been playing for almost 20 years and we have all playing it, this total time, without realizing that it has a cheat code.
Interestingly, 365 days need to pass in the game’s internal calendar before they go live, which may explain why it took so long for them to be discovered (because speculatethat number probably means that cheats are actually developer tools, which is…actually what most of the old cheat is).
– 10,000,000 Credits (GT Mode Screen): Select, Left, Right, Right, Down, Up, Up, Left, Down, Up, Right, Left, Down, L1, R1, Select
– Pass any license (License selection screen): Select, R1, Select, R1, Select, L2, L2, R2, R2, L1, Select, L1, Select
– Yellow any specific license test (License exam selection screen): Select, Select, R1, R2, L2, L2, Select, L1, R1, Select, R2, L1, Select
– Gold any event (Event course selection screen): Select, L1, Up, Up, Select, R1, Down, Down, Select, L2, Select, R2, Select
You know, using cheats doesn’t seem to have any negative impact on your progress, with Nenkai adding “I’m sure some of you are wondering, the prize is also given out by yourself. confirm with the final cheat code; 24-hour races can effectively be skipped as long as you’ve passed 365 days of competition.”
Modern video game developers, I know why you don’t put code in your games anymore (most have weird online stuff based on maintaining the sanctity of the experience), but it would be great if you could find a way to put cheat codes in your games in the 21st century. happy. Unlimited currency is the best. Thank.
