Summary + my y2k weekend party vlog!!

It’s been 2 weeks since my Bachelorette weekend, and to be honest – I just feel completely recovered. Not only did I have a hangover for days, but I fell into a real depression after the Bachelorette. It’s weird how it’s something we worked MONTHLY to plan, then three days and it’s all over. Maybe it’s preparing me for the fact that people say a wedding happens in the blink of an eye – which makes me so sad. GOOD REMINDER: STAY IN THE AMERICA.

& in my current time, all weekend in BACHINLUSH. I really had the best weekend ever, my friends are the most amazing group of women ever, the things they did for me blew my mind me, and it will forever be one of my favorite memories. I’ve been to a lot of Bachelorettes in my time, it’s great to finally be “my” turn & really- my expectations have exceeded them.

Somehow I managed to shoot the BEST vlog of the weekend, which is really impressive considering that when I start having fun, I tend to forget everything else… but I did a great job and I’m glad I did. I can share this wonderful weekend with all of my friends in this way.

the vibes are really pure & real- my friends couldn’t have done a better job planning me the best weekend ever. Since I’m the most nostalgic bitch when it comes to the early 2000s, we used the y2k theme and that’s the epitome of the icon.

Break down all the details below, as well as our weekend schedule, the “props” we got, and some looks I rocked!

BACHINLUSH WEEKEND SCHEDULE:

♡ FRIDAY: girls come in all day and we all just hang out, sit down, lie by the pool, have cocktails (drinks come for each girl, of course!). My friend Marchelle is a great cook, so she prepared the most sumptuous dinner for everyone and then we went to see a private drag show in Palm Springs. It’s a real HOOT & yea- this is when the camera is off. Your girl had too many hits (hits)… and it showed up the next day, lol.

♡ SATURDAY: Saturday’s plan is a Y2K-themed picnic and overnight stay. We wake up, drink water, and then head straight to the dog’s fur (which is much needed). Lauryn made the most damn micheladas ever, we ate breakfast by the pool, chilled a bit and then got ready for the picnic. Picnic group Get out and set up the most CUTEST picnic ever. There’s champagne in teacups with small flowers, croissants, cheese plates, fruit, snacks, etc. It really is a DREAM mini tea party.

My friends also built the prettiest little lingerie tree – it’s a fun idea for a Bachelorette. People buy me underwear, hang it on a tree (a clothesline works too), and then I have to guess who got me what. It’s spicy & I have some REALLY cute lingerie to choose from for my wedding night & honeymoon ;).

Then – My unofficial Ministry of Health, Torrie, surprised me with Mr., an airbrush artist. When we first started planning, I mentioned how great that would be, and she “sooo bummed” that she “Can’t find anyone to go to Palm Springs”. BUT DIE- and it was great. All the girls have a giant t-shirt to wear (I say “sk8er boi” lol).

That night, the plan was to go to bed in the lucky clothes all the girls get with their good bags while having a great night of Y2K movies, but I forgot my projector at home and didn’t have any. TV in the living room… so we ended up sipping wine, talking, checking people’s personalities and honestly- it was perfect. I haven’t had that time with my friends in a long time and don’t know when or if we’ll be able to get it back. That is important and very special to me.

♡ SUNDAY: LAST DAY. Add micheladas, a bagel brunch, the ultimate poolside minuets and say our goodbyes! On our way out, my college roommate (Leslie) and I defied the heat and went to Palm Springs Vintage Market before going home. You know your girl had to jostle for vintage shopping while in Palm Springs (best vintage EVER!!).

K- IT IS A WRITING ABOUT BACHINLUSH. We’ve all had our craziest times where we decide to take a trip with our daughter maybe every 2-5 years. I’m sure that won’t happen as time goes on (I’m getting tired of just thinking about it), but in theory – it’s a great idea. K- thanks for joining in. xoxo
