Taapsee Pannu recently spoke out about how excited she is to be working with Shah Rukh Khan in director Rajkumar Hirani’s next Dunki film. The actress also added that she is happy to have completed the role based entirely on her talent.
Taapsee has several movies about her kittens, including Shabaash Mithu. Next year, she will appear in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki big banner project. In a recent interview, she shared how glad she was that she completed the role based solely on her qualifications and talent. This marks the first time she has been cast with Shah Rukh Khan. This is also said to be her biggest movie yet.
Speaking to a leading portal, she said, “I feel so glad that this happened purely based on credentials and talent. No one picked up the phone to be introduced. I took the film just because someone liked what I did.”
The actress also added, “I have to pinch myself every day to believe this is happening. I grew up watching his (Shah Rukh) movies. For me, Shah Rukh Khan is the opening for Hindi movies. So just standing next to him in a frame is surreal. I just hope I don’t mess it up.”
