BANGKOK (Reuters) – Thailand’s economy is expected to grow 3.0% to 3.5% this year, a slight improvement from the previous forecast of 2.75% to 3.5 %, thanks to growth in the key tourism sector, a leading general business group said on Wednesday.
According to the group, the number of foreign tourists is expected to reach 9 to 10 million this year, including representatives from industry, banking and commerce.
