Our word review:

It’s hard to count any serious claims against Bob’s Burger Movie, as well as it’s hard to find a really bad burger. While every burger fan will always have their favorite, it’s rare to find one worth avoiding. Mostly, the problem with Bob’s Burger Movie comes down to the only aspect of a quality burger that has nothing to do with taste: price. A really great burger is affordable. Bob’s Burgers broadcast for free on broadcast television, a great deal. Is it good enough to warrant a movie ticket? Yeah sure. But no need to splurge if you don’t want to.

Sandra Oh to star in psychological thriller 2022 Umma as a mother living on a quiet American farm dealing with her daughter’s impending college entrance. When the estranged mother’s remains arrive on her doorstep, they begin a chain of events that unearth traumatic memories and grisly apparitions from the past that threaten to kill both her and her family.

Our word review:

Topics Shim wants to explore has provided plenty of notable horror imagery, most recently including Relic, Runand Hereditary. For comparison, Umma seems to be working with safety turned on, which makes the actors look annoyed but never really scared. As a horror protagonist, Oh especially static. Instead of letting loose out of frustration or fear, engaging with Amanda’s inner monster, or altering her performance in any way, she looks constantly lost, conveying all the horror. vibrating someone’s soul in fear of a long bus ride. Stewart is priced slightly better, especially since she’s paired with Odeya Rush who is a more sociable girl her age. But the movie doesn’t have much imagination when it comes to the effect of her character’s near-complete isolation. Chris is totally just a neat girl without a cell phone.
