BLACK ROCK, Ark. (KAIT) – A farm in Northeast Arkansas has chosen a unique grain for its annual corn maze.
Jackson Farm near Black Rock designed its cornfield to incorporate dinosaurs and is branding it as “Jurrasic Farm”.
The maze has multiple ways to reach the exit, weave in and out of the cornfield, and you may encounter a dinosaur on your way.
Jackson ranch co-owner Bill Jackson says there’s a reason behind the dinosaur theme.
“We kids have always loved movies: Jurassic Park, the whole theme. We look forward to that,” Jackson said. “Watched them many times in replays. We wanted a fun theme this year, so we decided to make it about the corn maze of our candy land.”
Jackson said this would be something to see for the whole family and was not intended to be scary.
“We are not a scary place at all. We are very family oriented,” Jackson said. “Even the ones that might look like a scary little dinosaur, they’re friendly and fun-looking, so don’t worry about your kids getting upset.”
The venue opens to the public on September 24.
