The Weeknd ends sold-out show at California midweek show after losing voice

The Weeknd unexpectedly ended its sold-out show in Southern California after losing its voice during a performance mid-song.

The four-time Grammy Award winner was performing his third track “Can’t Feel My Face” before abruptly stopping his performance Saturday at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. He then left the stage, finally turning around and telling the audience that he had lost his voice.

On stage, Weeknd apologized for the cancellation of the show and promised to refund the audience.

“I’ll make sure everyone’s good, you get your money back,” he told the crowd. “But I’ll be doing a real show for you guys soon.”

The singer added: “I can’t give you what I want for you.”
