There’s still a long way to go, Terrence Romeo talks about returning to his old form
Terrence Romeo feels there’s still a lot of work to be done to get back in shape even after scoring 27 points on San Miguel Beer’s debut in the two-month PBA On Tour series.
“I still have a long way to go,” Romeo said in Filipino after the game. Beermen’s 106-101 loss to Phoenix Fuel Masters on Wednesday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Romeo appeared in just nine games between the season-ending 2021-22 Governors Cup and the recent Beermen Governor’s Cup.
Window of opportunity
San Miguel also opened the series by giving its casters a chance with June Mar Fajardo, CJ Perez, Marcio Lassiter, Simon Enciso and Chris Ross seeing no action against Phoenix.
In addition to Romeo, tense minutes were awarded to Allyn Bulanadi, Rodney Brondial and Robbie Herndon, who added 21 points.
Center Nonoy Baclao, who joined the team after a few seasons with Meralco, plus Chester Saldua and Marvin Lee from San Miguel’s 3×3 team also played heavily in hopes of securing a spot on the talent roster.
