Total War: Warhammer 3’s Champions of Chaos will release with Immortal Empires
August is shaping up to be an important month for Total War: Warhammer 3. Beyond ambitions Immortal Empire expansion, will merge the maps and factions of all three games in the trilogy, developers Creative Assembly today revealed four new legendary lords.
Revealed later a leak occurred during a live Q&A session with the developers last week, confirmed that the strategy game’s first Lords Pack will add four new leaders to the Warriors of Chaos faction – a group that was long overdue for an update.
To fit The brilliant legend of Warhammer’s fantasy, each Legendary Lord will bond with one of the four Gods of Chaos, adding unique units to their armies through acts of worship and devotion. Today’s reveal (shown in the trailer above) features Azazel, a Sovereign whose ability to seduce enemy units reflects his dedication to Slaanesh, the Chaos God of Satisfaction. complete the world (read: their side is the master).
It should be noted that Champions of Chaos will be playable not only in Immortal Empire when it launches, but also the split of the base game The Realm of Chaos campaign. However, the goals of these new Lords will be different from those of the vanilla faction – instead of having to enter an alternate dimension to protect the spirit of Ursun Bear (stay with me here), the The Champion of Chaos will instead vie for control of Zanbaijin, an ancient city that has seen countless battles over millennia.
Creative Assembly will showcase the remaining three Champions of Chaos in the coming weeks, along with their unique units, leadership abilities, and campaign mechanics. Champions of Chaos Lords Pack will be out on August 23rd, same day as Immortal Empirebeta release.
