Two inmates reported missing from Community Correctional Center-Omaha


In a press release, the Nebraska Department of Corrections said Clifford Brown and Matthew Hurich left the facility and removed their electronic monitoring devices. These people were found about a block away. Hurich is serving a sentence for robbery and making terroristic threats outside of Lancaster County. Anyone who knows where they may be is asked to call the police or the Nebraska State Patrol. CCC-O is the lowest level of custody and the least restrictive facility.

Two inmates were reported missing from the Community Correctional Center-Omaha on Thursday.

In a press release, the Nebraska Department of Corrections said Clifford Brown and Matthew Hurich had left the facility and removed their electronic surveillance devices. They were found about a block away.

Brown was convicted of possession of a controlled substance in Dawson County. Hurich is serving a sentence for robbery and making terroristic threats in Lancaster County.

Anyone who knows where they may be is asked to call the police or the Nebraska State Patrol.

CCC-O is the lowest deposit and least restrictive facility.
