UP: 163 prisoners held in clear prison in 10th and 12th board exams
A total of 163 inmates held in various state prisons were cleared Up board exam by Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), an official said on Saturday. Results for both Grades 10 and 12 are announced at 2pm and 4pm, respectively, on Saturdays.
A total of 95 inmates completed the Grade 10 board test while 68 inmates completed the Grade 12 test.
According to UP board officials, a total of 103 inmates showed up in Exam in 10th grade from 12 district prisons, 95 of whom completed the exam with a pass rate of 92.23.
A total of 96 inmates from 16 district prisons appeared for the exam, of which 68 inmates passed the exam, accounting for a pass rate of 70.83, officials said.
Most of the prisoners who appear in the board exams are from Ghaziabad district prison. While 33 prisoners of jail appeared in class 10 exam where 31 cleared it. Another 25 inmates showed up for the 12th grade test and cleared it, officials added.
