A Russian missile strike hit a crowded shopping center in the central Ukrainian city Kremenchuk on Monday, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy speak.
He said more than 1,000 people were in the mall at the time of the attack. He did not give details of casualties but said: “It is impossible even to imagine the number of victims.”

City Mayor Vitaliy Meletskiy said the strike had caused many deaths and injuries, but gave no figures.
Kremenchuk, an industrial city with a population of 217,000 before the Russian invasion of Ukraine on 24 February, was the site of Ukrainelargest oil refinery.
