One of the most notable developments in the crypto industry was Solana’s announcement of the web3 smartphone. On June 23, Mobile, a subsidiary of Solana Labs, introduced Saga.
Saga is a leading Android mobile phone with unique functionality and features integrated with the Solana blockchain that makes web3 transactions and digital asset management easy and secure. This crypto smartphone features a 6.67” OLED display with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.
Meanwhile, NFT.NYC, the annual NFT industry event takes place from June 20 to 23, 2022. The event is also a hot topic in the crypto space. This conference is the largest NFT conference in the world. According to conference attendees, the mood is quite upbeat despite the recent bear market.
One of the most notable announcements from the conference was made by blue-chip project NFT Doodles, which recently launched a sequel called Dooplicator. Additionally, the NFT project has announced that Pharrell Williams is now its Chief Brand Officer.
Another project that has hit the headlines is Soulbound Tokens (SBT). SBT is a non-transferable identity and reputation token. In essence, they allow individuals to verify all of their information – education, work history, credit scores, medical history, professional certifications, etc. blockchain.
