20 races took place during the 2022 NASCAR Cup season. Joe Gibbs Racing racer Christopher Bell became the 14th different racer of the season to win the following Ambetter 301 at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
In the action-packed Ambetter 301, the 27-year-old takes the lead from Chase Elliott with 42 laps left and drove his 20th Toyota on the last lap to pass the checkered flag in P1.
With last Sunday’s win, Bell took 47 points and extended the lead over Kevin Harvick on the leaderboard to 19 points. He is currently in eighth place in the Cup Series standings and has a total of 570 points, with one win and five finishes in the top five.
Aric Almirola, the defending champion of the event, was unable to lift his trophy and finished P31. He only won 9 points and ranked 12th in the rankings with 490 points.

Kyle Larson, the defending Cup Series champions, took 37 points after finishing the race in P14. He is currently 5th in the scoreboard with 616 points.
With Bell’s win, NASCAR saw 14 different drivers, including five race winners – Ross Chastain, William Byron, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano and Chase Elliott – in the first 20 Cup Series races first of the 2022 season.
