So here are the must-haves for an autumn beach vacation.
In early fall, temperatures are usually in the low to mid 70s. Evenings can feel a bit colder than the typical low 60s, so prepare a warm sweater and a third layer. is a good idea. Beach walks are always in order. On pleasant warm days, a picnic with wine and snacks on the beach is a perfect idea!
During a long weekend in Tybee, plan a picnic on the beach and a day in Savannah. With great stops along the way to shop, eat and sightsee. Think in layers; the sun is shining but it’s cool in the shade. The lightweight layer will help you easily change with the weather and create the most comfortable feeling.
