WWE has scheduled a premium live event for September 4, the same day as AEW All Out.
The promotion will host its first UK stadium show in over 30 years on Saturday, September 3. Clash at the castle will take place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. The last time WWE held a major event at a UK stadium was SummerSlam 1992 at the original Wembley Stadium. Drew McIntyre and Sheamus are currently enmity to determine which Superstar will receive the title at the Clash at the Castle.
According to Brandon Thurston’s WrestleNomics, the promotion is also planning another show later that week. Thurston reported that NXT will have its next premium live event the day after Clash at the Castle. It took place on the same day as AEW’s All out event.
The NXT Premium Live event in September will air on the Peacock streaming service and will be held at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. At the moment, it is unknown whether the two special events will air at the same time or the NXT event will take place sooner.
WWE & AEW have faced each other in the past
Last October during the MLB Playoffs, two promotions locked in a battle for viewers on Friday night. SmackDown switched from Fox Network to their sister channel FS1 due to a baseball game. The show is a two-and-a-half hour special edition of the blue franchise and an additional 30 minutes that takes place in AEW Rampage on TNT.

While SmackDown attracts more viewers, the ratings in the primary 18-49 demographic are remarkably close. Brandon Thurston reports that SmackDown won the demo with just a thousand viewers.
