Texas racist attacks on Indians: Mexican woman arrested.
A video showing a woman in the United States racially abusing a group of Indian-American women has gone viral on social media. The Mexican woman was heard saying “I hate you fu ***** Indians” in the clip, which shocked social media users. The incident happened in the parking lot of the Sixty Vines restaurant in Dallas, Texas, on Wednesday night. The attacker, who claimed to be a US-born Mexican, was seen asking a group of Indian-American women to “go back to India”.
The footage begins shortly after the confrontation between the women begins.

She was later identified by police as Esmeralda Upton, who lived in Plano.
Officers from the Plano Police Department arrested Upton shortly after the Indian-American woman reported the incident to authorities.
According to police, she was arrested on charges of “assault causing bodily harm and making terroristic threats”. PTI news agency said Upton is holding over $10,000 in bonds.

One of the Indian-American women tried to reason with the assailant and asked, “What makes you think we’re not American?” Esmeralda replied, “That’s how you say it. Because I’m Mexican-American and I speak English.”
She continued with her racist slur, “If life in India is so great, then why are you in America.”
A five-and-a-half minute clip was posted on Facebook of Rani Banerjee, a member of the group being assaulted.
Upton even assaulted Indian-American women and asked them to turn off the camera, threatening to pull out a gun and shoot four women. “Turn off the damn phone or I swear to god I’ll shoot one of your ***.” One of the women who was filming the video was also hit in the face.
The video of the horrifying incident after going viral has attracted a lot of attention on social media.
